Come help us celebrate hoedown-style with one of Seattle’s favorites bands for old time Southern music, the Atlas String Band!
While good music is the foundation of a square dance, the caller is key! We are lucky to have one of the best local squares callers, Tony Mates, at the helm as well as music teacher and Hamilton parent Amy Carroll. What a great combination! All dances will be called and suitable for all dance abilities. All that is required is comfortable shoes and a smile! Dance starts at 7 PM.
Bluegrass anyone? At 8 p.m., Northwest band Northern Departure (average age 19 years old!) will arrive to wow us with their driving bluegrass sound. They recently spent time with the Bellevue Youth Symphony, were frequently seen jamming in the halls at Wintergrass and participated at MoreMusic at The Moore – a showcase of young local talent.

Come dine with us! We'll have pizza, Vietnamese sandwiches, baked goods (please no peanut or tree nuts) and drinks for sale starting at 6:30 p.m. For dinner entertainment, the first ever student/parent bluegrass collaborative as well as a special appearance by bluegrass performers and Hamilton parents, Greg and Mary Maass.
Come on down and have a good time!
