Band and Jazz Band Class Materials

Instrument Supplies:

  • Flute – cleaning rod and a thin cleaning cloth
  • Clarinet – swab and at least 4 number 2 1/2 reeds
  • Saxophone – swab, neck strap and at least 4 number 2 1/2 reeds
  • Trumpet – 5 sized mouthpiece and valve oil
  • Trombone – 5 sized mouthpiece, slide grease and water bottle
  • Percussion – SD Generals sticks and a stick bag

  • Beginning Band – Standard of Excellence Book I
  • Cadet Band – Standard of Excellence Books I & II & I Recommend
  • Concert Band – Standard of Excellence Books II & I Recommend
  • Symphonic Band – Standard of Excellence Book II & I Recommend
  • After-school Jazz – Standard of Excellence for Jazz Band
